To help us with our objectives, Adobe's Privacy Legal Incident Response Team is seeking a hardworking, proactive individual fascinated by complex projects, who thrives in fast-paced environments and can seamlessly drive success working with multiple cross-functional partners to accomplish the critical task of helping to ensure data privacy and security. This position will help drive the incident response process and response activities related to Security & Privacy incidents. The focus of this role is responding to and coordinating investigation activities and driving incident resolution.

What you'll do


  • Co-lead domestic and global investigations of multiple high-priority incidents across internal and external organizations.

  • Coordinate response activities across multiple internal and external organizations.

  • Partner and coordinate with incident response legal counsel and stakeholder teams to draft and finalize incident reports, executive communications, and customer communications.

  • Recommend appropriate remediation or mitigating controls based on findings from incidents and investigations.

  • Design, document and utilize streamlined processes that are both repeatable and scalable.

  • Coordinate specific activities with partners such as legal, security, PR and customer support during incidents and investigations.

  • Accurately and consistently track metrics and record incident data in case management system.

  • Collaborate with legal counsel and partner teams to conduct rigorous post-mortem processes, identify and communicate key findings to relevant parties.


What you need to succeed
  • 3-5 years incident response experience in a large organization, specifically in the information security and privacy space.
  • Proven understanding of security, privacy and compliance fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of privacy and security regulations.
  • Project/program management skills are a plus.
  • Must have a collaborative attitude that seeks to establish relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work optimally with multiple organizations and individuals at all levels.
  • A self-starter with a proactive attitude that can multi-task and thrive under pressure.
