To help us with our objectives, Adobe's Privacy Legal Incident Response Team is seeking a hardworking, proactive individual fascinated by complex projects, who thrives in fast-paced environments and can seamlessly drive success working with multiple cross-functional partners to accomplish the critical task of helping to ensure data privacy and security. This position will help drive the incident response process and response activities related to Security & Privacy incidents. The focus of this role is responding to and coordinating investigation activities and driving incident resolution.
What you'll do
Co-lead domestic and global investigations of multiple high-priority incidents across internal and external organizations.
Coordinate response activities across multiple internal and external organizations.
Partner and coordinate with incident response legal counsel and stakeholder teams to draft and finalize incident reports, executive communications, and customer communications.
Recommend appropriate remediation or mitigating controls based on findings from incidents and investigations.
Design, document and utilize streamlined processes that are both repeatable and scalable.
Coordinate specific activities with partners such as legal, security, PR and customer support during incidents and investigations.
Accurately and consistently track metrics and record incident data in case management system.
Collaborate with legal counsel and partner teams to conduct rigorous post-mortem processes, identify and communicate key findings to relevant parties.
What you need to succeed
- 3-5 years incident response experience in a large organization, specifically in the information security and privacy space.
- Proven understanding of security, privacy and compliance fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of privacy and security regulations.
- Project/program management skills are a plus.
- Must have a collaborative attitude that seeks to establish relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work optimally with multiple organizations and individuals at all levels.
- A self-starter with a proactive attitude that can multi-task and thrive under pressure.
