Outreach Manager, SEO - Adobe Spark

The Role

As an Outreach Manager on Spark's SEO team, you will own the end to end link building pipeline, be expected to expand our link acquisition efforts, and assist in driving organic traffic to Spark through off-page optimization strategies. You will help source, contact, and build relationships with relevant influencers and digital content publishers to further grow the brand awareness of Adobe Spark. You will also develop and initialize new link building strategies, campaigns, and tactics. And you will work collaboratively with marketing, content, and design teams to execute on all of these initiatives to help scale our SEO efforts.

Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an outstanding work ethic and a positive attitude. This person will be both creative and analytical, and is comfortable working both collaboratively and autonomously. We're looking for someone who is passionate about building relationships, focused on making business impact, loves to "nerd out" on SEO, and is naturally curious about how to move the needle for organic user acquisition.


  • Develop new link building strategies and tactics to scale our outreach efforts

  • Research competitors' link profiles and content to identify link acquisition opportunities

  • Build, maintain and manage a database of relevant and vetted prospects

  • Ensure the quality of prospects, outreach emails, and backlinks

  • Help craft pitches, and connect with journalists, media outlets, bloggers and others to build mutually beneficial and long-term relationships

  • Coordinate and manage a team of outreach specialists around the world to help scale Spark's link building efforts globally

  • Occasionally assist with other SEO and growth marketing tasks when needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, writing, and verbal skills, especially when it comes to writing persuasive emails

  • Data-driven, has strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

  • Previous outreach management and/or SEO experience

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Previous customer service experience is a plus

  • BA/BS degree, marketing, communication or any analytical field is a plus

  • Knowledge of SEO concepts and best practices is a plus

  • Previous experience with Google search console, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Omniture / Adobe Analytics, or Amplitude is a plus
