To help us with our objectives, Adobe's Privacy Legal Incident Response Team is seeking a hardworking, proactive individual fascinated by complex projects, who thrives in fast-paced environments and can seamlessly drive success working with multiple cross-functional partners to accomplish the critical task of helping to ensure data privacy and security.
What you'll do
Investigate and assess privacy and security incidents, conduct incident analysis, determine legal responsibilities, advise on necessary and recommended responses, and provide guidance on mitigation and remediation efforts.
Assist in responses to global regulatory investigations concerning privacy or security-related matters.
Work closely with Adobe Security teams to analyze and discuss potential security risks and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with Adobe's legal team, relevant internal partners, outside counsel, third party vendors, and regulators related to privacy and security incidents and general security matters.
Manage the development, maintenance and compliance activities related to Adobe's privacy incident response program, as well as working with Security teams on security policies, standards, and procedures.
Collaborate on and help drive key corporate privacy and security initiatives.
Work with cross-functional team members on projects to improve processes and increase scalability.
Assist with managing outside counsel advice for domestic and global privacy and security projects.
What you need to succeed
J.D. degree and membership in at least one state bar preferred.
3+ years of relevant incident response experience, including prior in-house or law firm experience.
Flexibility and experience managing multiple, high-priority tasks while meeting deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to advance large, complex projects.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Strategic problem solver with excellent legal and business judgment.
A detail-oriented, business-friendly teammate who thinks creatively and has a good sense of humor.
Strong understanding and experience with domestic and global breach notification laws.
