The Adobe Identity system is a foundational component of our cloud platform, ensuring consistent experiences enabled by a high-quality back end. As the Director for Identity at Adobe, you will be instrumental in driving the strategic direction and Product Management team execution required for these critical capabilities to thrive. You will work with customers, Adobe Executives, and the rest of Adobe's stakeholders to understand requirements and align investments to our company wide priorities. You will represent the Identity team and initiatives within a broad range of customer, business, technical, and executive stakeholders. Additionally, you will lead a team of product managers focused on Adobe's Identity solutions.

The successful candidate will have led the product function for broad based, ecosystem-oriented services - with an emphasis on building secure and scalable platforms. The role requires domain expertise in both service-oriented-architectures and scalable services as well as familiarity with Identity, Account, and Authentication workflows. Ultimately, success will be found at the intersection of technical capabilities, business acumen, enabling great user experiences, and organizational efficacy.

What you'll do:


  • Work collaboratively to establish a compelling vision and product strategy for how our Identity System integrates consistently across Adobe's offers.

  • Define and drive short-term and long-term delivery roadmaps.

  • Understand and influence the business needs of the Adobe as well as various applications; lead the product planning cycle as it relates to services related to our Identity roadmap.

  • Deliver actionable requirements and acceptance criteria to engineering teams.

  • Manage expectations and communications across the cross-functional teams (customers, business, development teams, IT, Ops, Legal, Privacy, Security, and customer success).

  • Grow the capacity and capabilities of a product management team, including the hiring, direct management, and mentoring of Adobe product managers.


What you need to succeed


  • 8+ years of experience spanning both technical and business deliverables in a customer facing platform space.

  • Experience with technology and customer experiences related to Identity, Account, and Authentication, including an understanding of industry trends and competitive landscape.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive and senior level leaders regarding product vision, road map and work backlog priorities and trade-offs.

  • Demonstrated ability to align business requirements with product and engineering execution. Familiarity with service based business models and business drivers.

  • Demonstrated experience with platform architectures and client/service experiences.

  • Demonstrated experience building and managing product management teams.

  • Experience developing individual product managers across a range of career stages and skill sets.

  • Ability to lead projects with significant technical, business and experience complexities, from concept to delivery.

  • Naturally tendencies include: plan long term and execute short term, data-driven and critical thinker, systems thinker.

  • MBA is highly desirable.
