Cloud Spend SFA/Finance Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cloud Tech Finance team as we continue to propel the business through data-driven forecasts and provide influential insights. You will be a key member of the Center of Excellence team driving cloud spend efficiencies across all of Adobe. In this role, you will drive analysis, reporting and business partnering with the Cloud Tech Engg team to drive efficiencies across Public Cloud Spend. Deliverables range from performance metric analyses, driving scalable reporting, developing analytical and forecasting models and the packaging of findings into presentation-ready content for exec management.

Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:


  • Prepare financial information for Weekly, Quarterly and Annual forecasts and provide analysis substantiated by key drivers

  • Provide ongoing business performance assessment and drive necessary business redirection, when appropriate

  • Build financial models, run scenario analysis and provide data analytics to identify areas of risk and opportunity of efficiencies

  • Leverage information and analysis to influence decision-making

  • Provide strategic and tactical support for quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting

  • Drive continual process improvement leveraging best practices, standardization, and automation to scale the business

  • Engage with other Finance and Strategy teams to understand key drivers or differences in business models

  • Partner with key business stakeholders, collaborating and contributing to achieve shared goals

  • Address new requests: understand the core question being asked, bring together needed data, build models, validate assumptions, perform analyses, summarize and present results in a compelling manner


Qualifications / Experience:

  • MBA degree preferred

  • 5-10 years of Finance or related experience

  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to communicate complex analysis in a simple way

  • Desire to determine complex problems and think about how to make processes more efficient

  • Strong partnering capabilities, with the ability to influence others

  • A team player who can work closely with peers across in FP&A

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in expertly designing and maintaining complex models

  • Strong systems skills: Tableau, Anaplan, SAP, TM1, experience would be desired

  • Experience in software industry and understanding of related finance and accounting issues would be a plus
