Specialty Retail Sales Manager (Inside Sales)

Margot Elena Companies & Collections is looking for a talented, driven, and disciplined Inside Sales Manager to execute strategy and increase sales within our high value Specialty Retail channel.  Our Specialty Retail Sales Manager will be a key contributor to the top and bottom line success of the company.  So what does it take to be amazing in the role:

You will be driving success through a team of sales people who accomplish some pretty special things including:

  • Growing our thousands of specialty retail accounts through regular customer calls and periodic visits
  • Leading a retail oriented environment to sell our products at two show seasons per year (July/August and January/February)
  • Prospecting new accounts across the US and Canada to launch our collection of brands
  • Launching new brands, products, campaigns and promotions to maximize revenue and customer sell through
  • Driving a structured and disciplined sales process that brings growth to the company and to each individual seller

This means you will have to be fantastic at a lot of things including:

  • Creating a high-energy, winning sales room where ambitious and disciplined salespeople grow and thrive
  • Designing and implementing sales incentives that generate the right behavior and results for our team, our customers and the company
  • Creating and communicating an effective commission plan that is role specific and motivating
  • Staying on top of numbers, activity levels, team dynamics and market behavior to continually execute and advise on adjustments to maximize results
  • Coaching all team members on successful brand positioning, sales methodology and scripting
  • Creating a retail type environment in the sales room and at each trade show we attend
  • Partnering across the business to define launch strategies, pricing, promotions, campaigns and sales support solutions
  • Sourcing, managing and optimizing prospect lists
  • Ensuring productive compliance to policies, systems, processes and tools across the specialty retail sales team
