As a Project Manager in TLM; you will be the face of Manhattan Associates with our customers. Manhattan's Transportation solutions offer end-to-end business process support for all transportation functions--across all modes and the entire logistics network-for private fleet as well as common carrier management. From strategic analysis, procurement, and operational planning to execution, visibility, and freight payment and claims, our comprehensive solution helps reduce transportation costs, improve service levels, automate processes, streamline execution, and lower operational risk.
As the project owner you will coordinate all aspects of a product or service offering project for a client, from inception to installation. Installations may involve acceptance of capitalized equipment or enterprise software systems, or system integration or consulting projects/engagement. Typically involves extensive interaction with sales, systems engineering, product development, and other members of cross-functional teams. Project is typically focused on the delivery of new or enhanced products to improvement of customer satisfaction through the use of technology. Project management skills, rather than technical skills, are key, but a strong technical background is often required to manage competing interests. Typically oversees schedules and budgets to ensure goal attainment.
- Four-year bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, business or a related field
- 6 years of post-bachelor's experience working in a client or customer facing role within a supply chain, retail store system, or software organization, including implementing enhancements to software based on client specifications
Senior Services Project Manager, PSO, Supply Chain Solutions
TLM (Transportation Lifecycle Management)
- 6 years of experience solving supply chain business needs with software solutions for distribution and transportation systems
- 6 years of experience deploying supply chain software solutions
