Senior Financial Analyst

An enthusiastic, self-motivated finance professional with a natural intellectual curiosity to join as a Senior Financial Analyst , reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager. This position will address finance opportunities and challenges to help the business evolve through its Business Model Transition from a perpetual to cloud software company. The successful candidate will develop and maintain the company's financial forecasts, budgets and 10-Year Strategic Plan in Anaplan. With either experience as an Anaplan modeler or mastery excel skills, this individual will work on the continued development of our current Anaplan budget model and work towards transitioning our current models and reporting into Anaplan. In addition, the right candidate will possess strong aptitude for financial planning and analysis, building and delivering accurate and timely financial models, articulating business impact beyond numbers, offering critical thinking as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities -

  • Build, develop, document and maintain financial models/budgets, including data management, user administration, maintaining lists, modules, dashboards and other model setting to meet business requirements
  • In time, build complex models in Anaplan and provide technical leadership on "how to build" to key individuals in the finance organization
  • Take existing models and reports (spreadsheets) and convert into Anaplan models
  • Perform data integration between internal systems and Anaplan; monitor data flows to and from Anaplan platform to ensure all data is up-to-date and accurate
  • Assist with monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes
  • Assist with executive level presentations, including Board of Director presentations and earnings call support packages
  • Provide ad hoc analysis, including reporting and modeling; and drive insightful analysis of business performance
  • Continuously improve and work across functions to drive efficient processes and systems, and leverage best practices
  • Partner with other members of the finance/accounting teams globally to complete cross functional projects

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA and/or Master's degree a plus
  • 2+ years combined experience in Financial Planning and Analysis and/or division finance, preferably with a software and/or SaaS company
  • Experience leveraging new technology to perform complex financial analysis and modeling required; Anaplan experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated understanding of financials and budgeting processes
  • Comfortable operating in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment that changes according to business needs
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills; ability to communicate with all levels of company

  • CPA or Master's degree in financial related field preferred
  • In depth experience with Anaplan preferred
  • Prior work experience with software and/or SaaS organization
  • Experience with enterprise financial planning software preferred such as TM1, Hyperion, or BPC
