Production Assistant


Temporary Position (6 Months)


  • Assist, shoot, and edit daily content for, MLS Social channels and MLS media partners
  • Log video content for archival purposes
  • Participate in all aspects of studio productions
  • Assist members of the department with various projects
  • Manage video assets for freelance and full time videographers
  • Track video releases and analytics
  • Field media requests from internal and external stakeholders


  • Knowledge of social media platforms and their video capabilities
  • Knowledge of AVID Media composer, Adobe Photoshop, file conversion, FTP, Microsoft Office Suite and Mac OSX
  • Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail
  • High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Demonstrated decision making and problem solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of soccer and MLS
  • Ability to travel and to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Desired Skills

  • Experience with After Effects, website CMS systems, and OSX networking 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3+ years of experience
