An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Software Analyst to join our Equities team in New York.

The role of equity research is evolving rapidly, and Macquarie is at the forefront of producing deep-dive, high conviction and thematic reports focusing on the next big investment opportunities.

Joining one of our top performing teams, you will be a part of daily dialogue with fortune 500 companies as well as emerging private companies looking to disrupt the landscape. You will oversee industry and company analysis, financial modelling and database support. You will also be involved in broader industry opportunities.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Several years of experience producing high-conviction, thematic, thoughtful research covering Software companies
  • A bachelor's degree (minimum) in finance, engineering, actuarial sciences quantitative or similar discipline. CPA, CFA or MBA a plus but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional financial analysis and modelling skills, a strong understanding of valuation techniques is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas succinctly.
  • The FINRA Series 7, 63, 86 and 87 or a willingness to study/acquire them.
