Lead Software Developer - Futures
As a Lead Software Developer within Futures, you'll join a Global development team to create user interfaces supporting a critical business clearing exchange
In this role, you will design and architect highly complex systems using full stack of enterprise Java products as well as contribute to the ongoing evolution of our platform design and tool chain. You will also provide maintenance and enhancements to the existing code base when needed and support our test team to build automated testing and delivery. Your ability to learn rapidly and your willingness to work with technologies and languages you are or are not familiar with will allow you to build software solutions that enhance our Futures business.
We will need you to bring a deep understanding of ETD products and the industry in general as you need to be able to work independently with exchanges and clients as well as a knowledge of functional programming, testing and agile techniques.
You'll also need to bring the following technical skills:
- Java, Spring, Hibernate, Messaging, FIX
- SQL including performance tuning, database design
- UI design (UX etc)
- AngularJS (1 and 2), HTML 5, CSS, Bootstrap, Sass/ Less, NodeJS, Typescript
- AWS, OpenStack experience.
