Associate Director, Head Legal Entity Control, Jacksonville (CPA preferred)

The Legal Entity Control function has an exciting Associate Director opportunity in our Jacksonville location. Legal Entity Control has broad responsibilities including financial control, financial reporting and financial compliance for legal entities incorporated in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and the Americas. In this role, you will lead three teams:
•\tEMEA Legal Entity Control
•\tAmericas Legal Entity Control
•\tSmall Office Team
Reporting to the Global Head of Legal Entity Control, your oversight in this role will include 3 teams totalling approximately 50 people.
You will leverage your expertise and strong technical skills relating to both IFRS and USGAAP based financial reporting and managing audit issues.
You will be an established leader, with a track recording in developing high performing teams.
You will lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them. You will undertake management responsibilities which will include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
You will engage closely with other functions within finance including Financial Control, Tax Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, as well as business teams. You will also be responsible for managing the relationship with the auditors based in EMEA and Americas
You will act as an agent of change to identify, promote and deliver on initiatives designed to generally improve the effectiveness and efficiency of delivering value-added financial reporting and associated controls.
Your background will include:
- You will hold a postgraduate / professional accounting qualification, preferably CPA possessing:
- 10+ years of post-qualification experience including 5+ years of people management experience
