Client Development Manager - UK

Position Summary:

As the leading provider of driver safety solutions, Lytx is searching for a Client Development Manager (3 to 6 month contract), who will be responsible for working with your Client Development team peers, Marketing, Sales, and Channel Development. The Client Development Manager position is considered an entry-level Enterprise Sales Position. The ultimate goal of the CDM is to help build a healthy sales pipeline by utilising Marketing and Sales tools to reach into the C-suite of enterprise clients to set up Face-to-Face meetings on behalf of our sales team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, expand and re-engage with the current database of prospects of the organisation
  • Must follow up with prospects in a timely manner in conjunction with a Marketing campaign
  • Work with Enterprise Sales Executives to set them up with meetings with strategic contacts
  • Work with/Manage external telemarketing partners (daily activities) to develop and maintain communication between marketers and sales reps to optimise lead generation activities
  • Use online resources to map out organisations and determine potential initial points of contact
  • Conduct research to support the Marketing department and their campaigns
  • Conduct WebEx and Programme demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Attend Conferences and Trade shows upon request
  • Expand and Maintain current sales libraries and marketing tools
  • Exhibit the organisational skills to efficiently manage an individual pipeline of prospects to the point where a F2F meeting is scheduled
  • Coordinate meeting dates with AE and appropriate decision makers of targeted organisation
  • Diary management for sales reps and liaison with external telemarketing teams to optimise efficiencies and minimise cost of sale
  • Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

  • 6 months to 3 years of Account Management, Sales, or Prospecting experience
  • Some experience in a customer facing or cold calling role
  • Must be detail oriented with a strong ability for interpersonal communication
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with exceptional networking skills
  • Capable of developing strong personal relationships with key decision makers
  • Possess a drive to both set and constantly chase team goals
  • Ability to work without consistent, direct supervision will be beneficial
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Show an ability to conduct research using various online resources
  • Must show advanced problem solving skills relating to diligently reaching out to prospective clients
  • Salesforce.com CRM experience preferred
  • Previous employment in customer service preferred
