Vice President, West Coast

At Lyft, community is what we are and it’s what we do. It’s what makes us different. To create the best ride for all, we start in our own community by creating an open, inclusive, and diverse organization where all team members are recognized for what they bring.
General Managers are the engines of Lyft’s growth and the Regional VPs are responsible for running those engines at peak performance. The West Coast Regional VP is responsible for managing 6 GMs, more than a third of Lyft’s P&L, and guiding Lyft’s world-changing vision.
To pull off this massive undertaking, you’ll need to be a natural leader, ruthless prioritizer, and non-stop builder. We are looking for seasoned executives with a track record of managing large P&Ls, scaling businesses, and developing top talent. You’ll be the glue that connects GM’s to HQ and vice versa. To do that, you’ll need to build strong relationships with your remote teams and even stronger relationships with your cross-functional partners at HQ. Expect 8-12 days of travel per month to stay in touch with your remote teams and their local businesses.
The Vice President, West Coast will be based in Lyft’s San Francisco headquarters, reporting to the VP of Global Operations.
