Diversity Business Partner, Tech

We are seeking a skilled and thoughtful Senior Diversity Business Partner, Tech to join the Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) team. This role will report into the Head of Inclusion and Diversity and may have a few direct reports (Program Manager and Diversity Specialist) to support the growth and scale of the global Tech organizations.  We are seeking a strategic global I&D practitioner who has demonstrated expertise and experience in assessing organizational gaps, and consulting/coaching leaders.

The Senior Diversity Business Partner, Tech will work cross-functionally with partners from Recruiting, People Business Partner Team, Legal partners integrating I&D in org-wide people and talent processes as well as design and implement holistic Inclusion and Diversity workforce strategies.   • Design, develop and execute a Tech diversity strategy that is integrated in existing talent management, hiring, retention, and development processes.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, coaching and consulting to scale peer I&D skill development workplace inclusiveness
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build trusting relationships
  • Empower Tech Diversity members, leverage their individual and collective strengths, diversity of thought to implement and drive innovative and targeted strategies
  • In partnership with the Tech Talent recruitment team, Learning and Development, People Business Partners (PBP), Social Impact Team provide I&D SME expertise to influence evolve internal /external programs and initiatives.  
  • Travel and participate in local and national diversity conferences, event, Tech industry panels/roundtable
  • Proven ability to work, coach, consult and partner across all levels inclusive of individual contributors, people managers, Sr. Leaders, and Executives.
  • Be a skilled facilitator and capable of creating content for I&D education and messaging to help elevate internal I&D understanding and awareness.
  • Track, monitor and utilize internal data (recruiting metrics, employee demographics, workplace/engagement survey themes) and external data (marketplace availability) and metrics that matter to provide insights to inform current and future strategies
  • Partner with the Head of Strategic Sourcing and Tech Diversity Recruiting Manager to co-create and drive new candidate sourcing and selection strategies while improving the overall candidate experience measured through quantitative/qualitative metrics


  • 7+ years of experience leading, developing and implementing holistic Inclusion and Diversity recruitment, talent management, project management action plans
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build trusting relationships
  • Preferred skills in organizational development or organizational effectiveness
  • Proven ability influencing, change management, and collaboration skills
  • Ability effectively lead and facilitate discussions to create and implement functional diversity strategies
  • Knowledge of key People team practices, processes, and EEO compliance areas
  • 5-7 years of people management experience
