Cash Accountant, Bikes & Scooters

This Cash Accountant is responsible for posting daily cash transactions, end of month bank reconciliations, and preparing summary cash reports for senior management. The role will focus on recording and reconciling high volume cash accounts and assisting with the month end close process.


  • Implement, maintain and document effective, SOX-compliant processes for transacting cash, including:

    • Depositing checks

    • Initiating and monitoring cash transfers

    • Recording all cash-based revenue and other transactions on a timely basis in NetSuite

  • Utilize online bank portals to download daily cash activity, including Lockbox deposits

  • Aggregate credit card deposits and corporate membership payments from online gateway

  • Investigate banking transaction issues when needed and prepare daily reconciliation discrepancy reports

  • Prepare monthly cash reconciliations

  • Post cash receipts to outstanding invoices, as applicable

  • Interface with key banks to implement processes and resolve issues

  • Assist in month end closing, financial reporting and cash forecasting

 Experience & Skills:

  • 1+ years of treasury (or related) work experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance

  • Demonstrate strong work ethics and professionalism

  • High degree of organization

  • Ability to work in a dynamic workplace setting adhering to strict reporting timelines of a public company

  • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable processing and procedures with strong attention to details

  • Ability to multitask,  manage large volume of transactions with limited supervision

  • Solid communication skills and ability to lead coordination in a team working environment
