Job DescriptionPOSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for the indirect purchasing strategy, activity, and development for LVMH Beauty in the American continent. Responsible for managing and developing the purchasing teams for the Americas zone and deliver performance with optimal procurement of goods & services essential to the company’s function.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, manage, inspire, support, and develop the purchasing teams in Americas zone.
- Provide appropriate support and deliver performance to the Brands and Shared Services Center functions
- Develop and coordinate synergies over existing territories (USA & Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, South American export countries) and increase scope with TR America
- Maximize the financial opportunities by enlarging the scope of work of the purchasing teams (new categories, new services purchased, etc. & scope of Brands within LVMH Beauty division)
- Purchasing tasks and actions: RFI’s / RFP’s, cost analysis, price negotiation, sourcing of new suppliers, demand management, recommendations, identify opportunities for cost saving (value engineering), establish mapping of preferred suppliers, implement contracts, follow-up KPI’s, …
- Risk Management: secure suppliers panels (follow-up their compliance with Social, Ethical and Environmental LVMH requirements) as per LVMH group requirements
- Establish and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize internal & external administrative processes
- Ensure Suppliers relationship Management (implement progress plan, develop partnerships, resolve disputes, …)
- Issue performance reports to International Purchasing Director (performances, by-passes, various purchasing initiatives, suppliers’ audits, …)
- Define and follow quantitative and qualitative annual objectives for team members
- Make sure to fully comply with procedures and policies update and (re)issue documents on a regular basis (purchasing procedure, bidding process, quarterly reports, etc.)
- Based on each purchasing strategy previously defined with International Purchasing Management, the role will be responsible to:
- Apply methodology, templates and tools of the International Purchasing organization
- Liaise with International Purchasing Director on a regular basis for follow-up and objectives
- Communicate with other team members for benchmarking, comparing approaches, synergizing.
SCOPE
The scope covered will be all manageable indirect purchasing categories covered in the Americas zone.

SVP COO North-America (operational) + BPC International Purchasing Director (functional)
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
- BPC Purchasing teams: 5 direct reports in the US + 2 direct reports in Mexico + additional direct reports expected to be recruited according to top management upcoming decision.
- Potential expansion of scope in partnership with US based Beauty Maisons.
- 12+ years of experience in Purchasing
- Excellent Management skills to give vision and sense, motivate, train and guide team members to deliver performance
- Excellent verbal, written & communications skills in English and preferably additional languages
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (excel, word, etc.)
- Highly motivated & organized with strong ability to plan and forecast.
- Business oriented: quantitative results and KPIs measurement
- Change management: ability to implement new processes and lead the change
- Experience in Perfumes & Cosmetics and/or luxury industry (or similar field)

While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $225-$250k.
