Job Description

Support the Communications & Image team at Parfums Christian Dior, across all three categories – makeup, fragrance, and skincare - to ensure a strong and impactful presence with media and digital talents across all social media platforms. Support the efforts of Dior’s Central HQ in Paris by building strong relationships with digital content creators and tastemakers throughout the fashion and lifestyle industries. The Digital Coordinator will support the team with daily product send outs, large-scale seedings, as well as core administrative duties in support of the overall digital strategy. Strong interest in the beauty industry and Canadian influencer landscape strongly recommended.

  • Support public relations strategy to enhance brand image, awareness and desire, ultimately driving conversion to sales through digital content
  • Develop and maintain relationships with digital content creators, increasing social media content with talents across Canada to better enhance the exposure of Dior products driving market growth
  • Liase with Dior Paris HQ digital communications team to create and implement global digital communications strategies in Canada
  • Collaborate with key cross-functional departments (marketing, media, sales, e-commerce and e-retail) to identify digital creator opportunities and ensure 360-degree support for Dior.ca and retail partners
  • Assist with and manage digital talent casting and outreach, including proactive and reactive media pitching, special projects, new launch campaigns, etc.
  • Manage daily product send-outs and large-scale seedings
  • Assist with managing timelines, mailer lists and execution of mailers for various product launches across makeup, fragrance and skincare
  • Complete weekly Tribe Dynamics checks & monthly DMR checks to ensure all content is recorded in the platform
  • Maintain organization and inventory of PR closet, collection samples and general office supplies, ensuring stock of key products and essential items are always available - place restock orders when necessary
  • Ensure all assets and documents sent from Paris HQ are saved to the drive
  • Monitor and clip weekly coverage and upload to Central Clippings platform
  • Execute and distribute weekly and project-based press reports
  • Research competitive activity and conceptualize digital talent initiatives
  • Assist with and manage travel arrangements and itineraries for brand trips
  • Assist and support PR department as directed by carrying out administrative assignments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure budget tracker is always updated
  • Conduct all other job-related activities
Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of Public Relations experience with a luxury beauty brand; Experience working directly with digital creators and respective managers/agents preferred
  • Strong understanding of the beauty, fashion and lifestyle industries as it relates to digital and social media
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends and the competitive landscape in Canada and globally
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate across the organization at all levels
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority and attention to detail
  • Ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing and handling information of a confidential, controversial and sensitive nature
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (ie: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) as well as Microsoft OneDrive, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
  • Proven track record of successful talent outreach and relationship building
