Key Account Director, Strategic Partnerships

These answers reveal the sentiments, motivations, and behaviors of target demographics – data that can be used to build business strategies, measure the impact of digital advertising, publish research, and more. Lucid is looking for a highly experienced Key Account Director, Strategic Partnerships to build and expand key relationships in the media space to support Lucid’s measurement products. This role will work closely with Audience product, marketing, legal, and business development teams to support continued client growth and cutting edge product development in the media measurement space. This pivotal role will oversee a portfolio of key customers, identify and develop new business from existing clients, open up new relationships, and actively seek and close new sales opportunities. Duties will include identifying and executing against new growth and revenue opportunities in the media measurement space, supporting new and ongoing integrations, contract negotiation, and account development. The candidate will ideally be based in New York, Los Angeles, or another major US city with high media vertical concentration, but we are open to any US-based location. #li-remote

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business stakeholders and influencers to activate and scale existing spend
  • Handle both strategic high level management and transactional sales activity
  • Expand existing relationships while seeking opportunities for new relationships and business growth
  • Strategize and align Lucid’s values to media partners, vendors, and advertising platforms
  • Negotiate new contract agreements and contract renewals for existing partners on behalf of the Audience team
  • Deliver against short term revenue goals and lay the groundwork for long term sustainable growth
  • Evaluate key metrics to identify trends and highlight issues and pain points in customers’ business needs
  • Provide subject matter expertise across Lucid in regards to integrations, product vision, and platform usage
  • Provide key insights on market trends, growth opportunities, and competitive threats
  • Travel within the territory to client prospects, industry conferences and to Corporate Headquarters in New Orleans (50-75% travel)
  • Accurately forecast and track key account metrics

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in sales in digital advertising or related industry
  • Ability to immediately and effectively approach high-level contacts at target firms
  • Proven success record in developing, signing, and scaling external partnerships within the digital marketing and advertising industries
  • Experience bringing in new business within the media, AdTech, MarTech and advertiser verticals
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and managing a sales territory
  • Strong sense for media technologies, with the ability to use, demonstrate, and speak about emerging media and data technologies
  • Develop a full understanding of the company, the advertising industry and how Lucid’s technology can seamlessly integrate to solve challenges
  • Basic knowledge or understanding of media research preferred
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and completing priorities 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • BA/BS Degree
