Your Impact:

The Senior Director, Enterprise Risk Management & Business Continuity serves as a strategic leader responsible for advancing Lowe's integrated risk governance framework. Reporting to the SVP, Corporate Governance & Chief Compliance Officer, this role provides strategic oversight of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Proactive Risk Planning, Business Continuity. The Senior Director establishes and maintains a robust enterprise risk strategy that aligns with Lowe's strategic objectives, ensures proactive risk identification and mitigation, and strengthens resilience across the enterprise. This leader provides counsel and insights to executive management and the Board of Directors on enterprise risk posture and resilience maturity.

Key Responsibilities:
• Set the strategic direction for enterprise risk management, ensuring alignment with Lowe's strategic and operational goals.
• Lead all risk governance programs, including ERM and Business Continuity Governance.
• Establish, implement, and continuously evolve the enterprise risk management framework, ensuring risk appetite, accountability, and ownership are embedded across all business functions.
• Provide strategic guidance and reporting to executive management and the Board of Directors on enterprise risk exposure, trends, and mitigation strategies.

• Integrate business continuity and crisis management into the broader risk governance framework to enhance organizational resilience.
• Develop enterprise-wide risk metrics and reporting mechanisms to measure and communicate the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and the value of ERM programs.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and other governance functions to ensure an integrated and consistent approach to risk oversight.
• Monitor emerging risks, including regulatory, cybersecurity, technology, and supply chain trends, to proactively identify vulnerabilities and opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional risk council to promote consistent enterprise-wide risk management practices and decision-making.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of risk and business continuity professionals to scale capabilities and strengthen future risk leadership within Lowe's.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or related field required; advanced degree (MBA, JD, FRM, ARM) preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience overseeing or supporting enterprise-wide risk management processes for an S&P 500 company.
• Proven experience advising executive management and/or boards on strategic and emerging risk topics.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional risk issues.
• Experience managing and mitigating risks across domains such as cybersecurity, data privacy, supply chain, technology, and compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership in developing high-performing teams and fostering a culture of risk awareness and accountability.
