HCM Business Partner

The Role

Our Talent Strategy team partners closely with leaders throughout the firm to align business strategies with talent strategies, perpetuate our values-driven culture, and promote a world-class people experience. Talent Strategy coaches our leaders on performance management, learning and development, recruiting, internal mobility, strategic planning, and employee relations to ensure that our people can thrive.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Perform as a trusted advisor and coach on a full range of people issues; provide guidance and challenge leaders on how to effectively manage change within the organization
  • Help design and deliver talent, leadership, and learning solutions within a broader people strategy
  • Drive results based on business goals and strategies by defining and executing specific people-focused initiatives, including talent-related initiatives and employee development programs
  • Design, develop, and execute on human capital plans with senior leaders, ensuring a longer term view on the development of the organization
  • Use data, metrics, and internal/external trends to provide leaders with insights to inform decisions, organizational structure, and key talent projects
  • Build credible relationships with leaders by combining commercial and human capital expertise Design and provide training to leaders to deal with difficult situations

  • Lead and resolve complex matters in a consistent, empathetic, and sound manner
  • Display confidence, emotional intelligence, and decisiveness

You’ll need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a HR Business Partner, Talent Development, and/or Employee Relations role
  • Demonstrated expertise serving in a consultative capacity to senior business leaders, shaping organizational strategy, goals, and alignment
  • Ability to execute firm-wide talent initiatives with excellence in a fast paced collaborative environment
  • Sound working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and a track record of applying problem-solving and analytical skills to a range of HR issues
  • Proven ability to use data and analytics to guide talent strategy
  • Maturity, discretion, and sound judgment in managing complex decisions
  • Superb communication (verbal and written) skills
  • A highly motivated, energizing attitude that inspires others to seek higher levels of performance
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a related discipline
