Digital Product Manager

What's the role?

We are seeking a highly motivated individual that can think strategically, prioritize efficiently, execute swiftly, and collaborate effectively to help evolve Lord Abbett’s digital marketing ecosystem. The ideal candidate is an over-organized team player that understands how strategy, technology, and content come together to influence brand perceptions and sell products.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the digital experience project management team, working directly for the Director of Digital Communications
  • Organize, manage digital marketing, content-as-a-service, internal digital comms workstreams
  • Partner with Channel Marketing teams to ensure that digital experience workstreams effectively enable channel marketing strategies
  • Work directly with channel marketers, Editorial, Product Management resources to produce new, improved digital experiences; add new digital marketing capabilities
  • Effectively manage resources, plan milestones and ensure on-time deliverables
  • Partner with Technology to drive the development of key components of the strategic MarTech roadmap
  • Regular review of established metrics/analytics to provide insight, prioritize work and refine approaches
  • Identify, manage key vendor relationships to extract maximum value, realize cost efficiencies
  • Lead prototype, POC initiatives to demonstrate value, determine MarTech budget needs
  • Research/identify new, improved capabilities to enhance digital experiences, increase engagement
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to highlight potential market opportunities, peer weaknesses


  • BA/BS degree required; additional digital certifications a plus
  • 10+ years relevant experience in BtoB marketing to/for finserv audiences
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar engagement management software
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple MarTech initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills
  • Excellent project planning skills
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence
  • Experience working in agile software development environments
  • Creative/PR/Media agency account management experience a plus
  • Experience developing, delivering presentations
  • Effective budget management skills
