Test Engineer Senior / Ocala, FL
Specific duties will include: test procedure development; test planning and preparation; test procedure execution; coordinate system resources to support testing; support test development, integration, and anomaly resolution as required; support off-hours testing and associated projects as needed. This role requires knowledge/experience with electronic circuits, automated test software, manufacturing processes, and the manufacturing test environment. Additionally, the ability to interpret test requirements, implement requirement based test methodologies, and utilizing statistical data analysis is required. This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college is required.
4+ years of professional engineering experience.
Demonstrated ability to independently lead technical projects and coach and mentor early career engineering professionals.
Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed failure analysis of electrical assemblies/systems.
Ability to interpret test requirements and electrical test results.
Familiarity with electronic components and common electronic test equipment
This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Ability to work 1st and/or 2nd shift.
Ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
Ability to conduct detailed failure analysis and develop and implement root cause corrective actions. Previous experience with programming languages such as C, C++, and National Instrument LabWindows CVI and TestStand is desired.
Experience with electrical testing of production assemblies in a manufacturing environment.
Experience developing or maintaining automated electrical test systems software.
