Systems Engineer / Archbald, PA

Experienced Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) engineer position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing algorithm development, flight software verification and hardware integration tests in the simulation and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) lab, HWIL integration and maintenance, developing and testing 6-DoF simulation models and simulation builds. Must have C/C++, FORTRAN, MATLAB programming experience, Modeling, Integration and Test. Embedded Software experience a plus.

The Locale: Archbald is located in Northeastern Pennsylvania and is part of Lackawanna County in the Blue Ridge Mountain range. The entire region is about 100 miles from both New York City and Philadelphia. Archbald is a suburb of Scranton, PA. The city of Scranton hosts five colleges and universities: Lackawanna College, Marywood University, The University of Scranton, Johnson College, and The Commonwealth Medical College and one technical school, Fortis Institute. The Pocono Mountains and Lake Wallenpaupack are nearby. The Northeastern PA region offers an excellent cost of living and is a great place to live.

Basic Qualifications
Strong guidance, navigation and control engineering skillsets
Fortran, C++, Kalman Filter, Hardware-in-the-loop(HWIL), 6DOF simulations, weapon system performance and trajectory analysis,
Semi-active laser optical design and control actuation system experiences
Strong technical writing skills
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Desired skills
Experience with embedded real-time software system designs.
AccuRev or similar configuration management tools.
