System Integration/Test Engineer/Automatic Test/ATE - Orlando, Fl

Designs, develops and implements testing methods and test equipment for sub-assembly and ECA card tests utilizing a replacement design for a Common Core Automatic Test Station (CCATS). Develops and tracks labor and cost schedules/budgets required for individual test development tasks. Investigates new test requirements and test interfaces to assemblies under test. Evaluates derived test requirements for testability, recommend changes to System Engineering. Generates Concept and Design reviews for approval, prior to formalizing new test station designs and packaging. Establishes technical and functional specifications. Responsible of the test development task from infancy through, procurement, fabrication, test software development, integration and validation into a production environment. Thermo Stream Cooling and ESS knowledge is a plus. The Effort will Design and replace the existing CCATS in the Sniper/Ocala production test environment.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical degree from an accredited university. Entry level.

Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance and therefore be a US Citizen.

Must be fluent in Windows operating systems plus Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Programming environment will be National Instruments TestStand, LabWindows/CVI - must have basic knowledge.

Desired skills
3.0 GPA or above

Candidate skill set must include a solid electrical engineering background in analysis, troubleshooting, test instrumentation interface, strong electrical and electro-mechanical test equipment hardware design, and electro-optical interface.

Must have "C" programing experience.

Working knowledge of collimators and blackbodies is a must.

Electro Optical Testing and or RF Background including integration, analysis, validation and verification

Familiar with optical alignment measurement equipment and techniques

Test Software includes C, C++, C#, NI TestStand, NI LabVIEW, NI LabWindows CVI, Visual Studio, Matlab, Windows and LINUX operating systems.
