System Integration/Test Engineer/Automatic Test/ ATE/ Orlando

Description:Sniper Test Engineering Recurring Support Engineer lead. Individual will lead the support of ATP System Level testing and Sniper All-Up Pod test stations. Includes test equipment at two separate production facilities as well as test equipment at a depot facility. Knowledagable in supporting functional test procedures, test software documents, validation plans, calibration procedures, etc. Tasks will include developing estimates for new proposals, generate Capital Expendtuture Request (CERs) and leading upgrades to existing test equipment when requirement changes warrant it. Responsible for the oversight of day to day Production test activities, supporting existing acceptance test equipment on the ATP Production factory floor. Knowledgable in Test Engineering processes, such as STRs, Bluelines, DA Reviews, TDCs, MQS/QDs, EPMs, DMS, Property Mangement and PLM. Will interface with program management, manufacturing, systems, software, hardware and quality engineers. Will attend and represent TE in daily program meetings, such as daily production status meetings, program status, Change Boards, PMT and but not limited to Yield Improvement Teams. Individual will also lead multiple non-recurring development activities; leading the Sniper team in developing, designing/upgrading, documenting, validating and certifying deliverable test stations under different contracts. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Contributes to the completion of specific program's projects and schedules. Works under minimal direction. Good communication skills. Provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems to solutions. Primary function and responsibility will be Test Engineering Recurring Support lead of ATP production test equipment; additionally, tasking will include non-recurring development activities. Responsibilities include maintaining ATP's Production test stations in Orlando's Fire Control Factory, Ocala's ATP's Production Test facility and Depot test stations at Warner Robin's AFB. Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience with test equipment processes of documentation; materials procurement; and fabrication.
• Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
• Experience in oral and written communication to present and to motivate
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of earned value management
• Capable of working in a fast paced, demanding environment providing independent thinking, problem resolution and action with minimal direct oversight by senior management.
• Background in test equipment work item proposal development and execution.
• Experience in test equipment practices for the prototype build environment.
