Sustainment Project Engineer
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Sustainment Project Engineer to work on the Precision Fires Romania HIMARS Program in Grand Prairie, TX.
The job responsibility will be for the entire scope of the Sustainment Center offset project assigned to the HIMARS Program as part of the Romania HIMARS Phase 1 procurement.
This role is responsible for all technical, cost, schedule and resource management tasks to meet the previously agreed to scope of the Romania HIMARS Sustainment Center offset project.
Responsibilities of this role include: Development of a detailed proposal for the project, integrated master schedule development, and management. Generation and maintenance of required USG Licenses, subcontractor agreement generation, coordination of a multi-disciplined team, and execution of offset project that will occur in Romania. Additionally, the position will interface with the Romania Land Forces, a branch of the Romania Ministry of Defense.
Additional responsibilities include:
Participating in system design meetings, program engineering reviews and change board meetings.
There will be travel.
This role is responsible for offset execution activities at both the Lockheed Martin facility in Grand Prairie, TX and at several companies in Romania. Offset project includes the design, assembly and/or maintenance of HIMARS hardware.
Candidate must have ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Multi-discipline project leadership experience
Program/Project Management execution experience
Risk Management experience
Subcontract management experience
Ability to work multiple projects and issues simultaneously from inception to completion with little supervision
Experience with development of team environment
Ability to interface and work well with multiple functional areas (i.e. sourcing, receiving, shipping, engineering, quality, contracts, program office and external customers)
Excellent organizational, research and problem solving skills
Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Willingness to travel Internationally
International and Offsets business experience
HIMARS experience (to include technical capabilities)
Import/Export License experience
Active Secret Clearance
Extensive travel to Romania may be required.
Experience working and knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, Statement of Work, Deliverables, etc.
Foreign customer experience
