Sustainment Project Engineer


Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Sustainment Project Engineer to work on the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) line of business in Grand Prairie, TX.

The primary job responsibility will be to identify, catalogue, and maintain US and FMS PAC-3 Inventory Configurations.

Evaluate the PAC-3 lifecycle and develop and maintain maintenance plan for US and FMS Partners.

Apply obsolescence and CM analyses to US and Foreign partner inventory and spares.

Develop performance analysis on US and FMS PAC-3 inventory configurations and create scoring for each compared to anticipated demands.

Provide recommendations related to maintenance of PAC-3 to US and FMS Partners.

Evaluate maintenance requirements and develop ROM estimates.

Coordinate with PAC-3 International Program Managers to ensure fulfillment of FMS case requirements. Additional responsibilities include:

Participating in system design meetings, program engineering reviews and change board meetings.

There will be travel.

Basic Qualifications

Candidate must have ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Ability to work multiple projects and issues simultaneously from inception to completion with little supervision

Ability to interface and work well with multiple functional areas (i.e. sourcing, receiving, shipping, engineering, quality, contracts, program office and external customers)

Excellent organizational, research and problem solving skills

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Ability to travel

Desired skills

Experience with depot operations sustainment principles

Familiar with depot operations as related to missile systems

Experience working and knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, Statement of Work, Deliverables, etc.

Technical degree

Military experience

Foreign customer experience

Ability to speak foreign languages
