Survivability/Simulation/Verification Systems Engineer- Missiles- Grand Prairie, TX or Orlando, FL

Want to work on next generation missiles, vital for our national security? Do you possess a top secret clearance and an analytical mind? Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Engineer for a position in either Grand Prairie, TX or Orlando, FL, with the choice of location negotiable. Some travel between the two sites will be expected.

This engineer will be responsible for development and verification of survivability models and simulations for a complex missile system. Tasks will include survivability modeling, post processing and understanding of modelling results, planning and documenting verification activities for both the models, data, and associated post processing tools. The ideal candidate will work well with a team to both communicate their results, and to understand the current design approach.


Basic Qualifications
Must have an active Top Secret clearance

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related discipline
with systems engineering experience supporting technical programs

The candidate needs solid knowledge in at least two of the three following areas, and ability to grow in the third:
-Model and simulations
-Mission effectiveness and survivability analysis

Must be able to work with a team and individually

Desired skills
Experience with survivability and/or effectiveness models and sims, such as Suppressor or ESAMS

Experience using the models in both development and verification applications

Experience working on a complex product

Experience managing teams, work and products
