Subcontract Manager Sr

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Sr. Subcontract Manager for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to support Integrated Air and Missile Defense Subcontract Management. Responsible for the management of supplier cost, scheduling and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk contracts, modified Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs.

Basic Qualifications
Ability to obtain a security clearance

Six years of DoD procurement experience

Detailed understanding of DoD Procurement Life Cycle

Ability to work multiple tasks and deal with competing priorities in a fast paced environment

Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation) skills

Problem solving skills

Excellent business acumen and ability to make business based decisions

Strong negotiation skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Ability to work with all levels of management

Ability to coach and mentor other less experienced personnel

Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
