Subcontract Management - DOD - Supply Chain Management - DFAR - FAR - Special Operation Forces

Seeking an experienced supply chain professional to join the best-in-class Special Operation Forces (SOF) GLSS Global Supply Chain (GSC) team. The SOF GLSS team provides logistics and sustainment support for three mission areas including Special Operation programs, Rotary Wing programs, and Fixed Wing programs in which this open position will specifically support. With an established supply base around the world, this GSC professional will work with some of the leading suppliers in the Aerospace industry to implement and manage strategic workforce service contracts, specialized Engineering support, and critical complex components supporting the SOF GLSS multi-year contract. GSC professional will manage the a variety of complex suppliers and should have a working knowledge of cost and pricing / TINA requirements for greater than $750k suppliers. Employee should have demonstrated experience in negotiation techniques with suppliers, and ability to effectively lead Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to manage supplier performance and strategies. This exciting Supply Chain Management (SCM) position offers the ability to be challenged each day and contribute directly to the Special Operation mission areas supporting Warfighters all over the world.

Basic Qualifications
Highly organized and able to work independently in a fast paced environment with limited supervision

Knowledgeable of FAR / DFAR regulatory requirements

Strong knowledge of procurement lifecycle and supply chain management principals

Bachelors degree in Business or relevant field

Desired skills
MBA or Graduate school in related business field (i.e. Supply Chain Management) preferred

Experience with LMAP and internal LM P2P / SAP preferred

Demonstrated negotiation experience

Demonstrated ability to negotiate supplier terms and conditions

Previous procurement experience in a DOD environment preferred
