Staff Requirements Definition and Analysis Engineer- Orlando FL

Description:Seeking a System Requirements and Definition Engineer to assume primary responsibility for missile Interface Control Drawing (ICD) development to assure both an effective and reliable interface communication with the missile vehicle platform. Experience with ICDs and platform integration is preferred. This role is part of a team of systems engineers who will perform the requirements development, Interface definition and missile/sensor architecture. Technical discussion, negotiation and coordination will be required with the customer to definitize the ICD going forward. The program will perform "tailored" PDR and CDR at both Sensor and Missile Level and within 6 months of Contract Award. Testing Requirements and Verification Planning will be required as part of a prototype demonstration effort culminating in multiple flight tests.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform the following Requirements Definition assignments:

Perform requirements definition of achievable design characteristics for an objective system.

Synthesize design characteristics into an implemental system architecture.

Flow system level requirements to testable structures and modular hardware and software using DOORS.

Perform trade studies and Risk and Opportunity Management analyses.

Define and track Technical Performance Measures (TPM's).

Perform detail system verification activities including definition of verification methodology.

Generate and execute a Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).

Define system tolerances and timelines.Conduct a thorough functional configuration audit with verification evidence provided.

Ability to obtain a security clearance and considered a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
DOORS experience is an asset to this position.

Platform interface definition, and integration and test experience is desired.
