Sr Staff RF Engineer / RF Technical Lead / Orlando FL

Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking an RF Engineer to oversee and lead the technical development of various antennas and other related RF hardware for a new weapons system. Familiarity with missile sensor design, understanding the systems design process, experience with requirements analysis and derivation, and test planning/execution are required.

-The candidate will be expected to interact with a multidisciplinary team which includes mechanical engineers, production engineers, quality engineers, and subcontracts managers.

-The candidate will be expected to work across IPTs to support a fully interconnected system design.

-Experience managing the technical scope of subcontractors and integrating it into Lockheed Martin products is highly desired.

-The candidate will be expected to work production issues as they come up, lead affordability and design improvement activities, and report status to management.

Where can you get to from Orlando? Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1.5 hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform some combination of the following Systems Radar Design and Analysis assignments:

-Demonstrate a strong fundamental understanding of radar and RF systems.

-Understand RF systems (radar related systems and subsystems) to include design, integration, test, and performance evaluation.

-Coordinate vendors and other team members in development of RF sensor systems for test/evaluation. -Assist in the coordination and oversight to various requirement verification activities.

-Demonstrate understanding of simulation and analysis tools. (MATLAB).

-Support trade studies, presentations, proposals and related activities.

Currently holds a Secret clearance with a background investigation within the last 5 years.
Desired Skills:
RF Sensor integration experience. Antenna measurement and simulation experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
