Sr. Proposal Analyst
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Sr. Proposal Analyst for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to estimate the material cost of manufacturing a product based on request for proposal (RFP) data submitted by prospective customers. Responsibilities include:
Analyzes specifications, including sketches, blueprints, bills of material or sample layouts and calculates cost.
Collects cost data from functional representatives, subcontractors, and vendors.
Computes cost estimates or raw material and/or subcontract work. Prepares and maintains historical cost data.
Creates cost models for cost estimating elements.
Prepares reports and presents findings to management, contracts personnel, customer representatives and price auditors.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Good communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to function with a variety of inputs.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Operations or Supply Chain Management or related discipline is desired.
Experience with Request for Proposals (RFP) and Materials estimating.
Familiar with the production process, Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), SAP Procure to Pay (P2P), Materials Cost Estimating (MCE) tool and Electronic Financial System (EFS).
