Sr. Contracts Negotiator - Federal Contracts Experience - Special Operations Forces

Negotiates, administers, extends, terminates and renegotiates standard and nonstandard contracts. Evaluates contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations. Maintains communications to ensure timely contract execution by the parties. Ensures final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. May plan and participate in training of contract practices and negotiations to company personnel.

Basic Qualifications
Federal contracting, negotiation, and administration experience with DoD contracts. Solid working knowledge of the FAR / DFAR and CAS. Excellent verbal and writing skills. Full spectrum understanding of DoD Government contracts and business related skills. Full understanding of the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) and skilled at management of negotiated RFPs.

Leadership skills and a team player who is a problem solver and self-starter. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments concurrently. Ability to complete tasks without oversight and supervision. Knowledge and understanding of aviation business, manufacturing and engineering processes related aviation business. Working knowledge of logistics support contracting.
