Special Programs - System Integration Engineer, Orlando FL

Member of the Systems Test and Evaluation IPT:

Effort includes:

-Supporting range operations and integrated tests such as: Static Ejection Tests, Instrumented Measurement Test Vehicles, Jettison Test Vehicles, Separation Control Test Vehicles, Control Test Vehicles, and FTS subsystem Testing.

-The candidate will be required to support coordination of test activities with Program Personnel and gather program derived test requirements. Taking the test requirements, the individual will help develop test planning and support author assembly and test procedures in support of the test activity.

-The individual will help coordinate the fabrication, procurement and assembly of test support equipment. The individual will need to support selection and coordination of the integration of the required instrumentation for the test activity.

-Team member on a multiple disciplined engineering team the
development of special test equipment requirements, assembly,
integration, checkout, and operation required for the integration
and test of a store on multiple platforms.

-In addition to the above activities, the candidate will support conduct of the tests and generate all required documentation, including test reports and verification sheets.

-Occasionally interfacing with both internal and customer Senior
Management to ensure sufficient resources are assigned to
complete the activity on-time and within budgetary constraints.

-Candidate needs to be a self-starter who can fully engage with other personnel on program including testers, operators, systems engineers, manufacturing engineers, etc.

-The individual needs to be able to give solid and timely feedback to the IPT lead.

-Intermittent travel up to 25% required to various test locations.

Basic Qualifications
This position requires effective task organization and
communication skills with a background in systems
development, integration and production.

Candidate must have experience in technical planning, system
integration, verification and validation, and formal system
development/certification experience.

Ability to obtain and maintain a SAR clearance is required. Must
currently have a final secret clearance with a completed investigation within the last 5 years.

Desired skills
Demonstrated experience and success on a technically challenging development program.

Demonstrated experience presenting to program/senior
management.

Current Special Access Clearance.
