Software Engineer - Orlando - real-time = C++ - secret clearance

Develop and maintain embedded software applications and/or desktop applications for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) products. Software engineer to develop and integrate embedded C++ operational flight program software. Candidate is responsible for software requirements, design, code, test, and integration activities. Candidate should be proficient using C++ with real-time embedded software development and integration experience. Linux OS and DDS experience is desired. Candidate will need to apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the software life cycle.
Candidate will design, develop, test, and verify Modeling and Simulation software for integration test platforms. Responsibilities include adapting the Operational Flight Program software into a simulation environment to provide a high level of fidelity. Also included is the development of formal documentation in support of the Modeling and Simulation system. The candidate will be expected to take responsibility for a required capability while developing the software and documentation throughout the entire lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications
Experience with embedded real-time C/C++ development is required.
Strong troubleshooting skills and embedded SW experience
Linux OS
Excellent communication skills.
Secret clearance required

Experience generating and maintaining program software documentation
