Software Engineer / Embedded / C++ / Orlando, FL - secret clearance

Software engineer to develop and integrate embedded C++ operational flight program software for F/A-18 IRST. Candidate is responsible for software requirements, design, code, test, and integration activities. Candidate should be proficient using C++ with real-time embedded software development and integration experience. Candidate will need to apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the software life cycle.

West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest
- Experience in Embedded C++
- Experience in all phases of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including requirements analysis, design, coding, unit test, integration, and verification
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong written and oral skills to support operational and test write-ups, and customer presentations.
- An active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience generating and maintaining program software documentation
- Linux OS and DDS experience is desired.
