Software Engineer / Embedded / C++ / Orlando, FL - secret clearance

This individual will develop/integrate embedded C++ operational flight program software targeted for Power PC processors running VxWorks v6.8. This individual would develop/integrate SNIPER pod features and functions for both US and FMS contracts. This job requires some travel to support aircraft integration and flight test both in the US and abroad.
This individual would also develop Aircraft Simulations developed in C++ targeted at a Windows OS. Simulations are used as part of integration and verification testing.

Where can you get to from Orlando? Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1.5 hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest
- Experience in Embedded C++
- Experience with Object Oriented Design Skills
- Experience in all phases of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including requirements analysis, design, coding, unit test, integration, and verification
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong written and oral skills to support operational and test write-ups, and customer presentations.
- The ability to obtain a Secret level clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience generating and maintaining program software documentation
- VxWorks / Workbench experience
- Qt experience
