Software Engineer / Embedded / C++ / Orlando, Fl

Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. This is Lockheed Martin's lead business unit for research development and production of manned and unmanned ground-vehicle systems, electro-optical and smart munitions systems and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance missile and rocket technology.

Develop and maintain embedded software applications and/or desktop applications for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) products. Software engineer to develop and integrate embedded C++ operational flight program Candidate is responsible for software requirements, design, code, test, and integration activities. Candidate should be proficient using C++ with real-time embedded software development and integration experience. Candidate will need to apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the software life cycle.

Basic Qualifications
Experience development in embedded C/C++
Experience in all phases of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including requirements analysis, design, coding, unit test, integration, and verification
Excellent communication skills.

Desired skills
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
Experience generating and maintaining program software documentation
Experience with software configuration management
Experience w/ both Windows Visual Studio & Linux based C/C++development
