Senior Technical Trainer-Orlando, FL

A key focus area will be working with Manufacturing Skills/Environmental Safety and Health (ESH) to support technical training for Manufacturing. This will require providing both technical knowledge and performance based instructional skills in areas such as Hand Soldering, Electrical and Electronic Assemblies, Acceptance of Printed Circuit Boards, Harness and Cable Assemblies, Use of Torque and Precision Measurement Tools, Application of Safety Wire and other related courses as required to meet functional/program training certification needs. This will also require working with customers to identify training development needs and resources to support those needs. This position has daily interface with employees, co-workers, managers, and Sr. Leadership customers as needed and will require strong problem solving and communication skills. This is a team environment with both local and virtual teaming responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications
Broad knowledge and experience in industrial based skills, OSHA and ESH regulations and requirements
Experience delivering and evaluating training effectiveness and employee performance in:
Soldering Electrical and Electronic Assemblies to IPC/EIA J-STD 001
Fabrication of Harness and Cable Assembly to IPC/WHMA-A-620
Certified in Rework of Electronic Assemblies to IPC 7711A/7721
Certified in Acceptability of Printed Boards to IPC-A-600
Optical Fabrication and Assembly
Industrial and Material handling Vehicles
Mechanical Assembly Programs

Desired skills
Experience working with customers/teammates virtually
Experience with Formal Instructional Facilitation and Training Delivery
Experience with Instructional Systems Design (ISD)
Knowledge of training core processes
Experience with training systems and performing training related activities
Strong project management and organizational skills
ellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Self-Starter
