Senior Systems Requirements Engineer / Grand Prairie, TX

Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to provide system engineering design and analysis support for new missile development programs. Duties include: Requirements development, risk management, architecture refinement, trade studies and interface development, especially for software CSCI.

Performs analyses for total systems at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related discipline
5 - 10 years of systems engineering experience supporting technical programs

Experience documenting architectures including both physical and functional
Competent with a requirement management tool, such as DOORs or similar tool

Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
Experience in eliciting and managing requirements Experience with a development program, and capturing design decisions into trade studies, architecture documents and requirements
Experience in managing risk
Experience working with sub-contractors, and teams
Good communication skills, both written and oral
Experience in interface definition, especially software
Experience with an architecture tool, such as MagicDraw
Experience with missiles, flight vehicles, or their related sub-systems and technologies
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
