Senior Subcontract Manager/Orlando, FL
Subcontract/Purchase Order Management and BOM Management
for wide range of Advanced Programs.
Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements
and purchase orders within established authority.
Responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and
technical performance for wide range of procurements and
subcontracts supporting advanced programs area and early
pursuit activities. Subcontracts and BOMs range from moderateto-
complex for wide range of customers and IRAD programs.
Duties include preparation of supplier RFP and RFI packages,
analysis and evaluation of proposals, selection/ recommendation
of subcontractors, price analysis, use of cost evaluations for
development of negotiation strategies, negotiations with
suppliers, preparation of compliant subcontract/PO
documentation packages, Invoice reconciliation and payment,
negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications
to subcontracts, interface with government clients, technical
personnel and other functional organizations.
Candidate will also need to work with the SEMAC organization to
ensure on time delivery of BOM material on smaller accelerated
programs. Must be able to interface with both internal and
external customers including Sr. Management. Individual will
work closely with technical operations, production operations,
Quality, PP&C on hardware development and or delivery.
Part of a multifunctional subcontract management teams
(SMT/IPT) and or small program teams.
Work and effectively communicate with program management
and other areas of the business for timely identification and
resolution of issues.
Experience with LM P2P or SAP equivalent experience.
Experience with the procurement of specialized materials,
complex assemblies, and equipment within Defense industry.
Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures (LMAP or
equivalent) with associated knowledge of FAR/DFAR
Working knowledge of standard contract types
Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Detail and Teamwork oriented with demonstrated organizational
skills; Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
(verbal, written, and presentation).
Demonstrated problem solving skills and business acumen.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
with ability to communicate critical issues.
Self-motivated, demonstrated sense of urgency, ownership of
tasks and accountable
Secret Clearance or ability to obtain
Secret Clearance with investigation in past 6 years
Established Track record of preparing FAR Compliant
Experience with FFP, Cost Reimbursable and T&M contracts
Green Belt Certified
Direct Experience with P2P
