Senior Subcontract Manager

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Sr. Subcontract Manager for a position in Grand Prairie, Texas to support on the Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) Program. This position will support the management of one or more major subcontractors and include key participation in ATACMS proposal preparation, proposal pre-work and post award execution.
Duties include: Evaluate / Negotiate / Manage assigned Subcontracts to perform to the program's specifications, quality, budget, schedule and earned value requirements. This will include the timely delivery of Hardware, SDRL's (Subcontract Data Requirements List) or other deliverables required to fulfill the subcontract.

Work within a team environment, yet maintain control of Subcontractors to eliminate unauthorized changes

This position will require travel.

Basic Qualifications
Major Subcontract Management experience Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and in teams
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications
Problem solving skills and ability to interface with multiple levels of management both internally and externally
Must be able to travel, as required
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance, therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen

Desired skills
Experience with managing Fixed Price and Cost Reimbursable subcontracts
Experience managing major subcontractors
Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures
Working knowledge of Procure to Pay (P2P)
Major Subcontract Management experience in a defense environment.
