Description:Lockheed Martin in Orlando is looking for C++ coders who want to work on cutting edge national security programs.

Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems. This is Lockheed Martin's lead business unit for research development and production of manned and unmanned ground-vehicle systems, electro-optical and smart munitions systems and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance missile and rocket technology.

MFC is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to develop embedded and application software. Selected candidate will integrate algorithms into C++ applications. Candidate is expected to be proficient in C/C++. It is desirable to has experience w/ both Windows Visual Studio & Linux based C/C++ development.

Candidates filling this position will need a clearance at the level specified in "Clearance Level" or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified.

Basic Qualifications:
C/C++ language or any similar Object-oriented (OO) language such Java or C#
Linux or other similar operating system (OS) with multi-threading
Fundamental data structures and algorithms
Software configuration management
Full software life-cycle development
Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams
Desired Skills:
It is desired that the candidate has experience with or knowledge of one or more skills below:
Accurev - source code versioning
C++ Design patterns
Data Distribution Services (e.g., Vortex OpenSplice and RTI Connext DDS)
Fundamental data structures and algorithms
Git/GitLab/GitHub - source code versioning
Linux CentOS
Linux or other similar operating system (OS) with multi-threading
Python language
RS-232 and RS-422 protocols
Team Foundation Server (TFS) - source code versioning
UDP and TCP sockets
