Senior Reliability Engineer / FMECA / Testability / Orlando, FL

This is a Reliability Engineering position that will provide support to the JASSM Program.
This support includes:
• Performance of Reliability predictions using Relex.
• Performance of Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
• Performance of Testability and BIT FD/FI analysis.
• Development, coordination and conduct of technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts.
• Compilation and analysis of performance reports and process control statistics; investigation and analysis of relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes and as necessary, proposing changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability.

Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1 and ¼ hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.


Basic Qualifications
-Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain an Active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
-Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college, preferably in an Engineering Field.
-Understanding of reliability, modeling concepts and reliability tools (e.g. Windchill Quality Solutions (WQS), RELEX, or comparable).
-Experience with performing reliability predictions using Reliability Software (e.g. Relex, Reliasoft).
-Experience with the FMECA process including a general understanding of circuit design and schematics.
-Possess strong computer skills, including in-depth knowledge of MS Office software.
-Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

Desired skills
-Candidate should be an analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.
-Experience with testability analysis.
-Experience with developing and delivering presentations to peers as well as management.
-Active Secret security clearance.
