Senior Marketing Lead/ Madison, WI

Direct oversight of cross-functional Distributed Energy Solutions marketing team serving the Midwest region for a multi-utility state wide energy efficiency portfolio. To be effective the candidate must combine energy domain knowledge with marketing expertise to drive program participation to appropriate levels for the portfolio of programs while spending prudently against available budgets. The candidate must work collaboratively with the state run program, along with internal and external program teams to assure program goals are achieved while adhering to explicit and implicit client requirements. The ability to organize and plan large quantities of known work on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis combined with the ability to address emergent work will be critical to success in this role.

Basic Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with emphasis on superior writing, editing and graphic art
Understands design elements used to create visual communications solutions, applies knowledge of color, layout, composition and spatial elements for print and online mediums
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well in a team
Proficient in MS Office, InDesign or other graphics software and knowledge of reproduction

Desired skills
Able to work autonomously and leverage team capabilities to satisfy multiple internal and external stakeholders simultaneously
Ability to convert goals to strategies and strategies to tactics within the context of marketing energy products and programs for utilities
Strong client management and relationship creation and maintenance skills
Ability to collaborate on, collect, and proliferate best practices across the marketing groups and personnel throughout the energy organization
