Senior Manufacturing Engineer / Tooling & Equipment Designs / Camden, AR

Responsible for the concept, design and documentation of manufacturing tooling and equipment required to effect manufacturing processes IAW production rate requirements. Duties include development of tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling/equipment and allowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item. Design/documentation efforts to be accomplished IAW company standards utilizing Pro-Engineer.

The Locale: Camden, AK is a city in southern Arkansas. Camden is located on the Ouachita River, at the end of the navigable river. Camden is about a two hour drive south from Littlerock, AR. Camden is part of the Timberlands region of Arkansas. Timber, Oil, Deer Hunting, Bass fishing... These are words commonly used when people talk about the Timberlands of Arkansas. It's a region with rich natural resources that was discovered by pioneers from the eastern United States in the early 1800s. The abundant natural resources of the Timberlands are still attracting people today. Visitors enjoy the legacy of those pioneers by visiting sites ranging from 1800s log cabins and restored Victorian homes to local museums and colorful murals that tell the history of this land. Communities within an hour or two from Camden include Texarkana, Hot Springs AR, and Shreveport, LA.


Basic Qualifications
-AAS degree required
-In depth knowledge of CNC Machining processes including programming, cutting tool selection, fixturing and general process development
-Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and develop tooling, equipment or fixtures that are required to manufacture the product.
-In depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) IAW ASME Y14.5
-Proficiency with Pro-Engineer or similar CAD system and converting CAD data to CNC programs
-Knowledgeable of Machine/Tool Design
-Knowledgeable of General Manufacturing Processes
-Knowledgeable of Engineering Materials
-Proficient with MSOffice suite
-Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance

-Knowledgeable of Welding processes
