Senior Computer Aided Design Application Support

Lockheed Martin is seeking a candidate to fill a Senior Computer Aided Design Application Support position in Grand Prairie, TX. Responsibilities include:

Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains enterprise-wide Computer Aided Design solutions using internally created and/or off the shelf products. CAD packages include PTC Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Catia, and others, as required.

Distributes and installs CAD applications.

Support the end users with application issues.

Supports associated applications as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
Must have or be able to obtain a secret clearance

CAD Application support experience, including PTC Creo, Solidworks, AutoCAD, and Catia

Must have experience with license management in an enterprise environment

Be able to prepare automated installation packaging

Must work well in a team environment

Ability to prepare documentation and work instructions for the work performed

Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

Knowledge of commercial license management with FlexLM, Reprise and DSLS

Desired skills
Knowledge / experience in Linux/Unix

Knowledge / experience in Engineering application disciplines

Process Improvement oriented

Intuitive thinker that can contrive and implement new solutions to technical problems

Previous work or volunteer experience

Familiarity with software license metering applications, particularly FlexLM

Programming Experience in an engineering related language such as C/C++, Python, Perl, Visual Basic (VB), or PowerShell

Software installation and configuration experience

Scripting and light programming a plus

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Strong organization skills
