RF Design and Analysis Engineer, Orlando FL

Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking an Antenna Design Engineer for an Orlando Florida position. The Antenna Design Engineer is needed to support the design, simulation, integration, and testing of an ultrawideband phased array antenna. The candidate must be a strong programmer and be experienced using MATLAB. Some experience with Ansys Electronics Desktop (or CST Microwave Studio) is preferred. The candidate will be expected to optimize antenna design run times in a High-Performance Computing cluster. Educational course work and/or professional experience with Link analysis and radar analysis is of significant value. Prior missile system design experience will be valuable.

The engineer must have an active SECRET security clearance and it is PREFERRED that the employee's investigation is in scope (investigation performed within the past 5 years).
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform some combination of the following Systems Radar Design and Analysis assignments:
Demonstrate a strong fundamental understanding of radar and RF systems and associated performance modeling.
Develop RF systems (radar related systems and subsystems) to include design, integration, test, and performance evaluation.
Coordinate vendors and other team members in development of passive/active RF sensor systems for test/evaluation.
Assist in the flow down of radar requirements to testable modular hardware and software.
Define requirements capability for Anti-Radiation Homing (ARH) or passive RF electronic surveillance (ES) hardware.
Demonstrate capability in ES/ARH systems engineering, algorithm development, and signal processing. Demonstrate mastery of simulation and analysis tools. (MATLAB).
Demonstrate the ability and/or knowledge to develop threat models. Support trade studies, presentations, proposals and related activities.

Currently holds a Secret clearance with a background investigation within the last 5 years.
Desired Skills:
Simulink experience is of significant benefit.
